There has been a commercial on TV lately that kept reminding me of a book I LOVED when I was in elementary school. For the life of me I couldn't remember the name or authour of the book
... all I could remember was a picture of an elephant in an extravagant home with a black and white checkered floor... not much to go by!!! I used my expert google skills and found this:
If you were deprived of "The Eleventh Hour" or any other Graeme Base books when you were a child, it's time for you to check it out. Base does all the illustrations and writing for his books. The Eleventh Hour in particular gives clues within the illustrations that help you solve the books mystery.
